CommunityAmerica has an agreement with UMSL that allows CommunityAmerica the use of certain sponsorships, images, and naming rights, including the use of the designations “Proud Banking Partner of the University of Missouri – St. Louis”, and “Exclusive Campus Banking Partner of the University of Missouri – St. Louis”, and other UMSL trademarks for use in CommunityAmerica advertising. In connection therewith CommunityAmerica may also receive other benefits and advertisements at UMSL events.
As consideration for this arrangement and the aforementioned benefits, CommunityAmerica pays UMSL compensation that includes benefits for CommunityAmerica, and in turn, Copper Financial. The portion of this compensation specific to the endorsement of Copper Financial is not separated from the compensation paid to UMSL by CommunityAmerica for all benefits.
Copper Financial does not directly compensate UMSL for any referrals. However, this arrangement incentivizes UMSL to endorse CommunityAmerica which could, in turn, generate referrals to Copper Financial.
