Mortgage Advisor

I have been in the mortgage industry for 7 years and am a Certified Credit Union Financial Coach. My focus is on Down Payment Assistance and Closing Cost programs, and I’ve helped members secure between $15,000 and $25,500 in assistance.

 

A highlight of my career was closing Community Services League’s first-ever build, which received news coverage twice and included $75,000 in total assistance. I am also one of the few loan officers at CommunityAmerica who regularly works with subsidized purchase priced homes and specialized DPA programs.

 

I chose this field because I’m passionate about helping members achieve their dreams of homeownership. I believe in building strong partnerships that empower families and create long-term stability for future generations.

 

My approach centers on sustainable homeownership. I focus on long-term affordability and coach members not only on their monthly payment but also on the real costs of homeownership, including maintenance and emergency planning.

 

Outside of work, I’ve owned my home for 12 years and love spending time with my four children and two grandchildren. My favorite place to be in the summer is on a pontoon at the lake, and in the winter I enjoy hosting Chiefs watch parties. I also volunteer regularly with Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity and Harvesters.
