Mortgage Advisor

I began supporting members through the mortgage process in early 2017, first as an interpreter, where I learned how important clarity, trust, and comfort are in every homebuying journey. In 2021, I transitioned into my current role as a Senior Mortgage Advisor, and since then I’ve had the privilege of guiding clients through one of the most meaningful financial decisions of their lives.

 

I chose to become a mortgage officer because homeownership is one of life’s biggest milestones. Being able to play a steady, supportive role in that journey every day is both an honor and a responsibility I take seriously.

 

My approach is focused on education and empowerment. I want borrowers to feel confident, not overwhelmed, so I help them build a realistic budget, understand their options, and make informed choices that support their goals today and long-term. When members feel prepared and supported, the process becomes smoother and far less stressful.

 

Outside of work, I’ve been happily married to my wife, Sui, for over 13 years, and we have two wonderful children. I’m also a proud Kansas City sports fan, following Sporting KC, the Chiefs, and KC Current through every season, win or lose.

 

One piece of advice I always share is simple:

“Know your budget and stick to it, no matter how tempting those bigger, nicer houses may be.”
