Grant Funding

Thank you for your interest in applying for grant funding. To ensure meaningful and intentional investments within our four pillars: Financial Literacy & Stability, Education, Health & Well-Being, and Strengthening Communities we focus on funding organizations that support financial well-being and create an upward economic impact for individuals within our field of membership.

 

Field of Membership Areas:

Missouri Counties: Jackson, Clay, Platte, St. Louis

Kansas Counties: Johnson, Wyandotte, Douglas, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Miami, Shawnee

 

Non-profit organizations requesting support must be located or serve individuals within the credit union’s field of membership, meet the primary requirement that their fundraising efforts benefit community members in at least one of the four pillars, and the organization is a non-profit/tax exempt organization.

 

Please Note:

All applications are subject to approval from the CommunityAmerica Foundation Board. Each donation is a one-time only gift and is not a commitment for future giving.

 

The following request types are ineligible for grant support:

  • Charitable causes that aren’t aligned with financial well-being and upward economic mobility (e.g., animal welfare, arts and culture)
  • Individuals
  • Non-educational religious organizations
  • Political causes or candidates

Applications are due by August 1 each year for funding in the following year. All applicants will be notified of decisions no later than the end of December.
