Draft Party Sweepstakes

CommunityAmerica Draft Party Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes")

CommunityAmerica Credit Union (“Sponsor”) and this Sweepstakes are in no way endorsed or administered by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, the National Football League, or any other company or person shown in marketing or communications for this Sweepstakes.

1. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes: a) employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers or employees; b) officers, employees or agents of any organizations directly involved with this Sweepstakes, including any co-sponsor of the Sweepstakes; c) immediate family members and persons living in the same household as the persons identified in (a) and (b) above.

2. HOW TO ENTER:
a) The Sweepstakes begins Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. Central Time ("CT") and ends Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. CT ("Sweepstakes Period"). The Sweepstakes will take place at Sponsor’s Draft Party (“Party”) located at 1811 Walnut Street, Kansas City, MO 64108 and be promoted through CommunityAmerica Credit Union social media posts. All entries must be received by 1:00 P.M. CT on Saturday, April 29, 2023 to be in the Sweepstakes. One entry per individual. Sponsor's computer will be the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

b) Automatic entry when individuals complete the entry form provided at the Party providing us with their name, zip code and email address. One entry per individual.

c) Entrants must be present to participate in the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted via any other method will NOT be accepted.

3. SWEEPSTAKES PROCESS: Prizes will be provided at the Party shortly after each entry is made. All entrants into this Sweepstakes will receive a prize. The Prize will be randomly determined by Sponsor’s computer system shortly after entry and will be awarded at that time.

4. ODDS OF WINNING: The actual odds of winning will depend upon the actual number of entries received for this Sweepstakes and the time of the entry. Because Prizes are awarded shortly after entry, it is possible that some Prizes may not be available to entrants who enter after the particular prize has been awarded.

5. PRIZE: Prizes include:

• Branded Camper Mugs valued at $20, 10 total.
• Branded Red Mugs valued at $20, 50 total.
• Branded Grocery Totes valued at $0, 300 total.
• Chiefs branded flags valued at $0, 200 total.
• Big KC Hammer valued at $30, 7 total.
• Gift cards to J Rieger, Mildred's Coffee, Anton's, Café Gratitude, Charlie Hustle, Palacana, and Ruby Jeans Juicery valued at $10 each, 75 total gift cards.
• Bobble Heads valued at $40 each, 10 total.
• Player Signed NFL Helmet valued at $400, 1 total.
• NFL Authenticated Jersey valued at $120, 1 total.
• Royals Gift Card valued at $200, 1 total.
• Chiefs ticket package value at no more than $499, 1 total.

6. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Prizes are not transferable. Federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified are the responsibility of the winners and a Form 1099 may be issued at 2023-year end. Additional restrictions may apply. Only the prizes specified above will be awarded. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsor shall only be responsible for awarding the number of prizes as stated in these rules. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of prizes awarded.

7. CLAIMING PRIZE: Entrants must be present to receive a Prize.

8. PRIVACY: Please review the Sponsor's privacy policy here. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you hereby agree to Sponsor's collection, use, and publication of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy. Sponsor will not sell your personal information, but may use the information you provide to market Sponsor’s products to you.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

a) By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, hold harmless Sponsor and all co-sponsors of the Sweepstakes and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with, either directly or indirectly, 1) the awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein; 2) participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize related activities, including but not limited to traveling to or from any prize related activity; and 3) the collection, use, and publication, or any of these, of your personal identifying information which you consented to by participating in this Sweepstakes. Upon delivery of the prize to the winners, Sponsor will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winners with winners assuming full responsibility for the prize. Under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, and entrants further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. CommunityAmerica Credit Union is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. CommunityAmerica reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes.

b) Additionally, by participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, hold harmless Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and the National Football League from any and all liability whatsoever and acknowledge that this Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or the National Football League.

10. MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree:

a.) to be bound by and comply with these Official Rules, and

b.) that all decisions of CommunityAmerica with regard to this Sweepstakes are final and binding in all respects. If you win, you consent to your name being published on a list of winners. This Sweepstakes is an independent Sweepstakes. Should a catastrophic or other unforeseen event occur that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, and this unforeseen event affects the fairness and/or integrity of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes. This right is reserved whether the unforeseen event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the contest, we reserve the right to select a winner from among all eligible entries received before we cancel, change, or suspend the contest. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes, will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.

11. CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. WINNERS LIST: For the name of the winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “CommunityAmerica Credit Union Attn: Katie Wilson – Draft Party Sweepstakes – Winners’ List”, P.O. Box 15950, Lenexa, KS 66285. Requests must be received by Monday, May 1, 2023.
